ANP INVESTIGATION: Sarah Palin's Apocalypse
By Harry Hanbury on Oct 01, 2008
2 Comments
Does Sarah Palin believe in the Anti-Christ? Does she believe true Christians will be whisked up to heaven sometime in the near future? Does she expect Jesus to come back to earth in our lifetimes and battle the armies of Satan? Would biblical prophecies about Armageddon influence her foreign policy positions on Israel and Russia? These are urgent questions the media have failed to ask. According to Chip Berlet, a leading expert on the Christian right, mainstream reporters tend to view apocalyptic fundamentalists as a "silly little side show" in American political life, when, in fact, one of their own may soon be a heartbeat away from the most powerful office in the world.

Totally crazy Palin
This woman is insane. She hides herself behind her false belief in some higher power. Her witch doctor is the only one she should be listening to. No one should be listening to this sort of dribble coming from a grown adult woman. Any of these fundamentalists are also completely insane and out of touch with reality. This types may do anything to make their so-called prophecies come true. We should be afraid. Very afraid.
Go back from wence you came you white devil woman. LOL
excellent but at times biased
It was an excellent piece but I wish you had stayed closer to straight reporting. Toward the end you interpret her comment that "Putin rears his head" that Palin is suggesting Putin is a beast?
When asked if she could conceive of going to war with Russia you say "she doesn't flinch". The specific question she was asked was "would you stand behind our NATO obligations if Russia invaded a NATO ally?" I am not sure there is a US politician who would answer that question other than yes.
Overall a very interesting piece but better to report it and let audience interpret.
